warcprox

a WARC writing MITM HTTP/S proxy

can be useful to manually archive web pages when the archive.org crawler is blocked

usage

• get: pip install warcprox
• run: warcprox
• use *-warcprox-ca.pem certificate (import in browser, point at w/ curl/wget)
• direct traffic through 127.0.0.1
• stop warcprox (.warc.open file turns to .warc file)
• Share manually crawled web page online
